Dr. Emilio Mantero-Atienza has practiced psychiatric medicine for more than 30 years. Since early 2003, he has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-investigator on over 200 studies in the areas of Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury, Post-traumatic stress, Parkinson’s Disease, Tardive Dyskinesia, to list a few.
Dr. Mantero, as he likes to be called, is a graduate of University of Sevilla School of Medicine in Sevilla, Spain. He graduated Medical School in 1981 and commenced afterwards his career as a Medical Professional. Subsequently Dr. Mantero earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry and a Master’s in Public Health & Epidemiology at the University Of Miami Medical School. He was faculty for over 15 years at the University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He also has served as a leader in the Behavioral units at different local hospitals in Miami including Cedars Hospital, Mercy hospital, Kendall Regional Hospital, Southern Winds Hospital where he concentrates in General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine (Addictionologist).
Dr. Cuervo is a Board-Certified psychiatry specialist in Miami, Florid and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area including, Larkin Community Hospital, Southern Winds Psychiatric hospital, University of Miami/Jackson Health System, Banyan Psychiatric Health Systems. He received his medical degree from Universidad de Zaragoza Faculty of Medicine and has been in practice for over 40+ years. Dr.Cuervo has expertise in treating Dementia, Schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, among other conditions. Dr. Cuervo has has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-investigator and has extensive research experience in countless Clinical Research Studies.

Dr. Emelina A. Arocha is a Board Certified psychiatrist in Miami, Florida, affiliated with multiple hospitals, including Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, Baptist Health Doctors Hospital, Southern Winds Psychiatric Hospital, Larkin Community Hospital, Kendall Regional Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, and Sister Emmanuel Hospital for Continuing Care. She obtained her medical degree from Universidad Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Havana, Cuba, in 1973 and completed her residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1998. With over 20+ years of experience, Dr. Arocha specializes in treating anxiety disorders, depression, dementia, among other conditions, and was board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry Certification in Psychiatry.
Dr. Niveditha Bhaskarla, MD is a Board-Certified psychiatry specialist in Miami, Florida and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area including, North Shore Medical Center, Southern Winds Psychiatric Hospital, University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital and Select Specialty Hospitals in Miami. She has over 20 years of extensive experience in Psychotic Disorders in treating schizoaffective disorder, schizophreniform, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, non-Alzheimer’s dementia, substance abuse and suicidal ideation among other conditions. She has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-investigator on over 15 research studies.
Dr. Bhaskarla received her medical degree from American University of Antigua College, University Iberoamericana (UNIBE) College of Medicine and an undergraduate in University of Maryland.
Dr. Jose A. Diaz-Pimentel is a Board-Certified Neurologist with a specialization in geriatric neurology. He began his career as a Chemist, earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico. During his time there, he conducted extensive research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, focusing on Signal Transduction of Purinergic Receptors in Brain Cells. Driven by his passion, he attended medical school, earned his Medical degree, and completed a residency in Neurology, eventually becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Currently, Dr. Diaz-Pimentel practices as a Neurologist, treating a wide range of conditions including Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy, Stroke, and Neuromuscular diseases. He is also skilled in the evaluation and programming of deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor. Dr. Diaz-Pimentel is affiliated with the American Academy of Neurology and the Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Armando Ropero-Cartier is a family medicine doctor in Miami, Florida and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Coral Gables Hospital, University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital and Select Specialty Hospital-Miami. Dr. Ropero-Cartier has practiced family medicine for more than 33 years. Since 2017, he has served as Principal Investigator and Sub-investigator on over 15 studies in the areas of diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular, hyperlipidemia, asthma, seasonal allergies, growth hormone, diabetic peripheral neuropathy, implantable devices, insulin pumps, clamp studies, renal, traumatic brain injury studies and more.
 
Dr. Ropero-Cartier received his medical degree from Universidad Central del Este Facultad de Medicina, in the Dominican Republic, graduated from Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed a residency at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia PA.
